LGBTQ Athletes Stand Out in Olympic Medals Won

The publicly out LGBTQ Winter Olympians have already earned four medals, which is tied with the United States and ahead of every other country but four.

Outsports says “What’s amazing is that Team LGBTQ is doing it with only 14 athletes that we know of and are counting. Team USA has over 200 athletes, sporting the largest contingent ever.”

Out Olympians have a history of doing amazing things. In Rio, 47% of them won a medal.
